Selwood Secures National Contract October 2009
Selwood has secured a national contract with Woodland Burial Services, part of Cooperative Funeralcare.
With Woodland Burials expanding its woodland burial sites, the company has just bought two Yanmar mini-excavators and a Thwaites 2 tonne swivel skip dumper from Selwood.
By definition, Woodland Burials as a company is very conscious of all environmental issues and champion’s best practice. National Manager for Crematoriums and Cemeteries, Colin Rickman commented. “We approached several companies with a view to buying plant but very early on built up a relationship with John Knight, Selwood’s Plant Sales Manager. We chose Selwood as we wanted a good working relationship early on in order to build for the long term and Selwood is also a well established, honest company that holds the same values as we do.”
With Selwood having a nationwide branch network, it is able to offer back-up to Woodland Burials throughout the country.
